KHYBER AGENCY : An official of Khasadar force sustained injuries when a roadside remote control explosive device planted by unknown militants went off here in Paind khel area of tehsil Landi kotal, sub-division of Khyber agency, official and local sources informed on Tuesday. “Hussein Ahmad was executing his official duty on Pak-Afghan road, when he was attacked,” sources said. “The administration and forces officials soon after the incident rushed to the scene, cordoned off the whole area and shifted the injured to Landi kotal Hospital for medical aid,” sources said.
Nato supply vehicles were supposed to be targeted in the blast, an administration official on the condition of anonymity said. The security agencies launched search operation in the area and two watchmen from nearby vehicles parking identified as Said Pur and Khair Mohammad of Landi kotal were arrested and put behind the bars for investigation.
