PESHAWAR - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Tuesday participated in the sit-in staged at the Hayatabad Toll Plaza, Peshawar and appreciated party workers for holding successful protest against the US drone attacks. The PTI's sit-in against the drone attacks entered into 11th consecutive day on Tuesday.  Addressing on the occasion, Imran Khan said that the his party was forced to stop the NATO supply via Khyber Pakhtunkhwa due to repeated interventions in the internal affairs of Pakistan.
He said that innocent people in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and FATA were being targeted in the drone attacks. He said that recent drone attack also disrupted the ongoing dialogue with Taliban. He said that NATO blockade would be continuing till end of the drone strikes in Pakistan.
The workers of PTI blocked the NATO supply at five points of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa where party leaders visited and participated in PTI camps. Besides Peshawar, the PTI workers also staged sit-in in districts Tank and Dera Ismail Khan where large number of people participated.
The party workers have blocked the ring road at Hayatabad Toll Plaza and are not allowing any vehicle of NATO supply through Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The sit-in was attended by MPA Tufal Anjum, Engineer Adil Nawaz, ISF President Sohail Afridi, Mina Khan Afridi and Major Fayaz Khalil.
Likewise PTI workers also continued their protest camp in Swabi and Nowshera, where workers participated in the rally enthusiastically. The sit-in was also attended by President of PTI Youth Wing and others. In  Kohat PTI District Hamayun Bacha President and General Secretary Sajid Iqbal led the sit-in.
Similarly, in D.I.Khan the sit-in was led by District President Hamayun Khan and General Secretary Ibrahim Lahori and Regional President Irfan Kamrani attended the camp.
Meanwhile, some of the owners of NATO containers have also announced halting oil supply to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa but Pakistan Oil Tanker Association divided over the issue and vowed to keep uninterrupted supply of oil to all parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
