PML-Q chief Ch. Shujaat Hussain said that mid-term elections in the prevailing circumstances will harm democratic culture in the country adding that PML-Q wished that the incumbent government should complete its constitutional tenure.
Talking to media here on Thursday, he said that the country doesn't need mid-term elections in the prevailing circumstances adding that the incumbent government should be given an opportunity to complete their constitutional tenure, as they have already completed their two and half year's constitutional tenure.
He also pointed that mid-term elections in ongoing circumstances will harm democratic culture in the country and also urged the incumbent government not to indulge in confrontation with the judiciary adding that PPP's led coalition government should ensure implementation on the court's verdicts.
PML-Q chief also suggested that the government should unite all the political forces of the country to steer the country from the prevailing challenges.
