ICCI chief outlines working priorities

ISLAMABAD - After taking oath as new ICCI President Yassar Sakhi Butt has unfolded his vision to promote business interests and outlined his agenda as construction of ICCI Export Display Centre, and new Industrial Estate in the capital, says a press release. Resolving of residential issues of small traders and tax reforms would also be on top of his agenda for the year ahead. Budding businessman Yassar took oath as new President, while Asad Farid and Shahid Zaman Shinwari as Vice Presidents of the ICCI following the AGM at Chamber House. Mehtab Abbasi, Member National Assembly was the chief guest of the ceremony, who administered oath to new Executive Members, while Munawar Mughal, Chairman, Founder Group administered oath to new office bearers of Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the year 2011-12. Pakistan has been facing serious challenges and positive steps are required for the economic revival of our country, said Abbasi while addressing the oath taking ceremony.
