Telenor sells 1st SIM thru biometric system
KARACHI (PR): Telenor Pakistan has started selling SIMs using the recently installed Biometric Verification System (BVS) for activation of SIMs in Karachi.  It has deployed BVS at 29 point of sales across Karachi, ensuring that all Sales & Service Centers and Franchises in the city are BVS compliant.
Telenor Pakistan completed BVS deployment in Karachi on November 30 and starting December 1, all SIM sales through BVS are underway at all of Telenor Pakistan’s Sales & Service Centers and Franchises in Karachi. Lars Christian Iuel, CEO, Telenor Pakistan expressed satisfaction and said, “We are pleased to announce that we have completed the implementation of Biometric Verification Systems at all our outlets in Karachi to ensure higher accuracy of subscriber data.




Wateen sponsors south Asian Conclave
