ISLAMABAD : The export of ready-made garments from the country during the last four months of current financial year registered growth of 14.59pc as compared to the same period of last year. As many as 8,964 thousand dozens of ready-made garments worth $604m exported during the period from July-Oct 2012 as compared to the 8,294 thousand dozen valuing $ 27.12m in same period of last financial year. The exports of towel from the country surged by 6.62 per cent as about 53,526 metric ton towel worth $254 million exported during the period under review.
