LAHORE - Kisan Board Pakistan (KBP) has urged the government to take solid steps to ensure payment to sugarcane growers by the quarters concerned without any further delay. Talking to a delegation of sugarcane and wheat growers on Thursday, KBP President Sardar Zafar Hussian said that during the last crushing season sugar mills had bought sugarcane at very low rates and made illegal deductions besides less weighting of sugarcane.
