ISLAMABAD (APP) - The Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) here on Tuesday stressed the need for resolving the circular debt on priority basis, saying that it was the main reason behind the power crisis. The govt should take measures to resolve this issue on priority basis to generate employment and alleviate poverty, slamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry President, Zahid Maqbool said in a statement. He said the amount of circular debt has increased to alarming level of Rs.125 billion adding that if not resolved urgently, it will cause prolonged power outages, badly affecting the productivity of industry.
