ISLAMABAD (APP) - The government has allocated Rs 4315.000 million for Population Welfare Division, including Rs.4181.843 million for on-going schemes and Rs. 133.157 million for new in Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) 2008-09. Among the new schemes, Rs. 10.000 million have been allocated for establishment of RTIs at Nawabshah and Khuzdar, Rs. 61.332 million for construction of car parking furniture, furnishing of auditorium, generator and allied works in Population House, and Rs. 10.000 million for establishment of two MSUs and six FWCs in Balochistan. Similarly, among on-going schemes, Rs. 1560.000 million have been allocated for Population Welfare Programme Punjab, Rs. 796.000 million for Population Welfare Programme Sindh, Rs. 468.000 million for Population Welfare Programme NWFP and Rs. 270.000 million for Population Welfare Programme Balochistan. Likewise, Rs. 597.000 millions have been allocated for population Welfare Programme Federal Activity, Rs. 50.000 million for Population Welfare Programme FATA, Rs. 65.000 million for population Welfare Programme Northern Areas, Rs.75.000 million for Population Welfare Programme AJK and Rs. 39.900 million for population Welfare Services in Islamabad District.
