LAHORE - The business community reacted strongly over the Badami Bagh incident in which the houses of Christians were put on fire. They termed it a total failure of local police and intelligence agencies, and misuse of the blasphemy law in the country.
Addressing the oath-taking ceremony of Anarkali bazaar traders, APAT general secy Naeem Mir called for religious harmony. DCO Noorul Amim Mangal administered the oath to the newly-elected office-bearers of Anarkali Bazaar. The ceremony was also addressed by Bilal Yasin, Hafiz Salman Butt, Liaqat Baloch, Abdul Alim Khan, Ajaasam Sharif, Sajida Mir and Samina Khalid Ghurki.
