Governor to take fruit market shifting issue with CM

LAHORE - Punjab Governor Ch Sarwar has assured the Lahore Fruit and Vegetable Markets Board that issue of market shifting will be raised before Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif.
This he said while talking to the Lahore Fruit and Vegetable Markets Board eight-member delegation led by its president Ch Zaheer Ahmed who called on him at Governor’s House on Wednesday. The governor assured the delegation of redressal of their genuine issues and issued directives to the DCO to consult all stakeholders for the shifting the market.
The delegation included Ch Azhar Ali,  M Ramazan, Hafiz Ajmal, Ghiyasuddin, Malik Nadim, and Ch Nawaz. The delegation briefed the governor about the shifting of Badami Bagh Fruit Market and raised their strong concerns in this regard. Ch Zaheer said that there are thousands of small businessmen, who are earning their livelihood at a this suitable location and the proposed plan of shifting the market need a huge money.
