ISLAMABAD (APP) - The power shortfall has further reduced from 3,135 MW to 2,703 MW as the total generation on Friday recorded as 12,753 MW against demand of 15,456 MW during the last 24 hours. According to daily power generation report, the hydel generation stood at 6,136 MW, WAPDA thermal 1,842 MW, IPPs 4,713 MW and 62 from Rental. As many as 790 MW was supplied to Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC), the report said. The hydel generation witnessed considerable increase owing to improved water level in two major reservoirs Mangla and Tarbela dams.
