CM vows to ensure timely completion of power projects

lahore-A Chinese energy sector delegation called on Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and discussed cooperation in power sector, said spokesman of Punjab government on Monday.
Talking to the delegation, the Chief Minister said that Punjab government is working speedily on power projects and will succeed in overcoming shortage of electricity with the cooperation of China. He said that Nandipur power project will start producing 100 megawatts of electricity by the end of current month. He said that several Chinese companies have signed agreements with Punjab government for collaboration in energy sector.
While talking to assembly members, PML-N office-bearers and workers of different districts, here on Tuesday. The Chief Minister said that PML-N government and leadership will honour every promise made to the people and come up to their expectations at any cost. He said that former rulers displayed criminal negligence towards people’s problems and totally ignored the issues confronted by the country. He said that instead of redressing the grievances of the people, the former rulers indulged in loot, corruption and nepotism while merit was flouted.
