Islamabad (Online) Water level at the famous and larget dams of Islamabad Rawal and Simly dam, that are best reservoirs for fishing, start rising by the mid of July so one can enjoy fishing there. Rawal Dam is the most famous fishing spot near twin cities - Rawalpindi & Islamabad, where Rohu and Common Carp are the two famous breeds of Rawal Lake. Mostly with the beginning of monsoon spell the fishing season starts breathing again with some small fishing activity in its early form and an increase in the activity can be expected. The daily fishing fee is only Rs 10 and it is very inexpensive as every one can afford it that is why there are many visitors including families, youngsters and elders who plan fishing and picnics at the Rawal Dam, said Malik Saleem an official of the Capital Development Authority (CDA). He said that more water in the dams of Islamabad like Rawal dam and Simly dam provides more chances of catching fishes to the fishermen. A rush of fishermen despite of Ramadan witnessed at the Rawal Lake on Saturday who came across the twin cities to enjoy the fabulous view of the lake along with the fishing activity. The weather got hotter and humid that is the sign of peak season for fishing in Islamabad like wise rest of the country and as soon as monsoon began the rain water filled the small reservoirs as well that created more opportunities for fishing in even small reservoirs of the city such as nullahs or natural streams of Margalla hills. The spokesperson told that a number of beautiful and heavy flowed streams located in the federal capital that provides opportunities to the people for fishing.
