Posting at SBCA
Karachi (PR): On the orders of Director General Sindh Building Control Authority and Chief Executive Master Plan Karachi, Manzoor Qadir, Senior Director of SBCA Mumtaz Haider has been posted as Director Master Plan Department. A building expert and Town Planner Mumtaz Haider is one of the most experienced Senior Directors of Building Control. Earlier, he has also served as Director SBCA as well as on key posts of Master Plan.
Moreover, at a meeting chaired by Manzoor Qadir at SBCA head quarters, serious notice was taken of illegal occupation, cutting of plots, construction, sale and purchase in the name of fake residential projects on different government, amenity and welfare lands and public parks in the city. Addressing the meeting, Director General SBCA and Chief Executive Master Plan Manzoor Qadir said that no matter how much powerful and influential people may be behind the land mafia, illegal constructions will be definitely eradicated. Illegal occupation of public parks and amenity / welfare plots lands of the city is a violation of the basic civic rights and it will not be tolerated at any cost.
Seminar on self-motivation
LAHORE (PR): A seminar on ‘Role of Self Motivation in Self Development’ was arranged by the Law Society was largely attended by professionals, law students, lawyers, tax-consultants and working women from the various circles of the City. Prof Dr Ali Sajid spoke in detail on “Finding New You within you”.
The speaker elaborated the importance of positive thinking which ultimately leads to positive attitude through culture of tolerance, self-belief, and power of faith.
While explaining the role of self-motivation in mental positive development, and growth, Dr. Ali Sajid also highlighted the role of various applied techniques for the implementation of motivational aspects.
He declared motivation as a main profiling force for gaining and sustaining long-term growth.
The seminar ended with the question-answer session followed by a note of thanks by Secretary of the Law Society, Advocate Intazar Mahdi.
