ISLAMABAD - Minister for State Water and Power Abid Sher Ali has said that status of Generalized System of Preferences-Plus from European Parliament to Pakistan was acknowledgment of government’s positive polices.
Talking to media outside the parliament house, he said, the decision would help strengthen and bring positive impact on the economy of the country.
He hoped that the decision would help increase export and create more jobs opportunities to common people. To a question, he said, the government was taking steps to overcome energy crises in the country. The Minister said the Prime Minister has set up special monitoring cell for the supervision of energy projects.
He said gas load-shedding for industry would be minimized in the next year. Abid Sher Ali said Business Youth Scheme launched by the Prime Minister, would empower youth by making them self-reliant. He said the government would ensure transparency in granting of loan to youth.
