China Mobile role lauded

KARACHI - The FPCCI has praised the role of China Mobile, which has made the largest investment among all Chinese investments in Pakistan and appreciated the plans of the company to further invest $600 million in the country's economy in the areas of building new network capacity of more than 20 million customer base and other infrastructure. The Chief Operating Officer of China Mobile Pakistan (CMPak), Zafar Usmani and his team met with the office-bearers of FPCCI recently in Karachi. While expressing his views on the occasion, Usmani said that Zong has become the most sought after brand in the country and expressed the need for greater interaction between Zong and the representatives of the business community in the country. "We have showed all our stakeholders that in terms of human resource, network, brand and customer service we are the best professionals in this industry and we mean business", he added. During the meeting, the representatives of the FPCCI discussed several aspects regarding the network expansion, planned investments and the tariffs designed to facilitate the business community. Usmani briefed FPCCI that this year his company has invested $200 million and plans to expand its project by further investing $600 million. "The company is designing strategies to map every need of the business community from tariffs to the connectivity across Pakistan and Zong will always be transparent in all areas of its business", he further said.
