ISLAMABAD - Growth of Large-Scale Manufacturing (LSM) has shown slight increase of 0.67pc in the first four months (July-October) of the ongoing fiscal year over the corresponding period of 2008-09, FBS reported on Thursday. According to the figures released by Federal Bureau of Statistics, the growth of LSM has increased by 0.67pc in the first four months of 2009-10. The Quantum Index Numbers (QIN) of LSM stood at 192.29 points in the period under review as compared to 191.01 points in the same period of the last fiscal year. Meanwhile, in Oct 2009, the industrial output has registered a growth of 4.97pc in the month of October. QIN of LSM stood at 197.14 points in Oct as compared to 187.81 points in the same month of the last year.
