ISLAMABAD (APP) - Sixty employees who were sacked in 1996-98 have been reinstated in Zari Taraqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL), the sub-committee of the Federal Cabinet on reinstatement of sacked employees was told here Wednesday. The meeting of the sub-committee was held under the chairmanship of Federal Minister for Labour and Manpower, Syed Khurshid Ahmad Shah here on Wednesday. Vice President ZTBL told the meeting that 60 out of 68 employees have been reinstated in the bank while the other 8 employees have not contacted the committee in this regard so far. He said that these employees have been promoted and salaries were being paid to them as per instructions of the sub-committee of the Federal Cabinet. On the occasion, Senators Dr. Malik and Hasil Bezinjo from Balochistan informed the meeting that the people of Balochistan have not been given their due quota of jobs in ZTBL and TCP. Speaking on the occasion, Khurshid Shah said that there should be no injustice with any province keeping in view the recruitment of people in federal government departments adding that people of Balochistan should be given their due share of quota in jobs in various ministries, divisions and departments of federal government. Federal Minister for Kashmir Affarirs, Manzoor Ahmad Wattoo, Federal Minister for Housing and Works, Rehmatullah Kakar and Minister for Railways, Ghulam Ahmad Balour, Secretary Ministry of Labour and Manpower, Tariq Iqbal Puri and senior officials of the Ministry of Labour and Manpower were also present in the meeting.
