This rise was mainly led by growth in oil production as PPL's gas production in this period registered a decline of 0.2 per centYoY and stood around 1.0bcfd in 11MFY08. This decline in production was mainly led by lower production levels from Sui, which registered a decline of 3.4 per centYoY and stood at 632mmcfd. However, higher gas production from Adhi, Kandhkot, Sawan and Makori somewhat mitigated the impact of Sui on PPL's total gas production. On the contrary, oil production of the company, during this period, registered a growth of 54.4 per cent, raising the oil production to 4.2kbpd against 2.7kbpd in the same period last year.
