ISLAMABAD - The LPG marketing companies have reduced the LPG prices by Rs 10 per kg which would be implemented immediately.
Under the revised rates, cost of a domestic cylinder would come down by Rs 120 and commercial cylinder by Rs 480.
Chairman of All Pakistan LPG Distributors Association Irfan Khokhar welcomed the step by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources and hoped that in future these prices would further reduced.
Irfan Khokhar said that after this recent decrease new prices in Karachi, Lahore, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Gujrat, and Sialkot would be Rs 80 per kg and domestic cylinder would be available at Rs 910.
In Sakhar, Haiderabad, Rahim Yar khan, Sadiq Abad, Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan and Bahawalpur new prices would be Rs 85 per kg and domestic cylinder would be available at Rs 970.
Irfan Khokhar told in Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Peshawar, Kohat, Jehlum, Dera Ismail Khan LPG new price per kg would be Rs 90 and domestic cylinder at Rs 1030.
In Gilgit Baltistan, Fata, Balakot, Muzaffarabad, Azad Kashmir, Mansehra, Nathya Gali, and Swat LPG new prices would be Rs 110 and domestic cylinder would be available at Rs 1270.
Irfan Khokhar said that in this regard Federal Minister for Petroleum and Natural resources Dr Asim has issued directions for reduction in the prices and a summary has also been prepared.
