LAHORE - The International Poultry Expo 2013 will be held from Sept 26 to 28 under the auspices of Pakistan Poultry Association (PPA) at Expo Centre Johar Town Lahore.
The PPA is holding the international event regularly since 1998 with the objectives of creating awareness among the framers as well as the veterinarians, to share each and every development in different areas of poultry production in the world. The exhibition is also aimed at developing closer ties among all stakeholders of the poultry industry working in different sections of the sectors, he added.
He informed that representatives of federal and provincial departments and the whole private sector will participate in the event.  Highlighting the important features of IPEX, poultry industry representatives said that exhibition, souvenir disbursement, cooking competition, Umra tickets and lucky draws would be the major events of the poultry show. The events would hopefully educate and fascinate not only the farmers, students, poultry-related businessmen and veterinarians but also general public.
The three-day expo, which held annually in Sept, will be a show of vaccine suppliers, feed millers, consultants and breeder companies.
They said that hundreds of entrepreneurs and thousands of visitors had witnessed large variety of poultry items exhibited in the previous exhibitions. This time too, the organizers will ensure a huge participation of poultry entrepreneurs, new investors, researchers, veterinarians, students and general consumers to provide them a unique platform where they can find a complete guidance as well as global exposure too.
