Previous PIA flights’ schedule from Peshawar to Karachi demanded

PESHAWAR - Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Wednesday expressed concern over the flight schedule of PIA from Bacha Khan International Airport to Karachi and cancelation of flight operations by foreign airlines.
President CCI Zahidullah Shinwari in a statement said that PIA authorities have curtailed the flights from Peshawar to Karachi in a week and cancelled flights to Malaysia and Kuwait and operating one flight to Dubai once a week.
He said all PIA flights from Peshawar were making big profit and cancellation of all flights is unjust. The business community of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is facing various problems due to the decision.
He said flights to Lahore and Quetta have already been stopped and limiting flight schedule to Karachi is aggravating the issue for Peshawarites and the people of KP.
Shinwari demanded of the federal government and Civil Aviation Authority to restore the flight schedule between Peshawar and Karachi and other countries.
