An MoU was signed between Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) and UK-Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry at Mumtaz Hotel London, England, informed RCCI spokesman here on Wednesday.
RCCI President Dr Shimail Daud Arain and President UK-Pakistan Chamber Abdul Majeed Shaheen signed the documents. Vice President RCCI Muhammad Alam Chughtai, Member Executive Committee Khurshid Barlas, Vice President UK-Pakistan Chamber Nazir Lodhi, Secretary General Sohail Siraj and other members were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion President RCCI Dr Shimail Daud said that Rawalpindi Chamber’s motto was to encourage trade among the European Dtates and Chamber would leave no stone unturned in this regard. He said that according to MoU both Chambers will make frequent visit to each other and business communities would have direct intact and B2B meeting would also be conducted. President RCCI said that MoU would lead to enhancement of trading activities between two countries and open new horizons for business activities. President UK-Pakistan Chamber Abdul Majeed Shaheen said that Pakistani products are very famous in EU markets but Pakistani exporters are lacking in better presentation and packaging. He said that exporters from Pakistan must meet the international standards to get space in EU and England trade markets.
