ISLAMABAD : The Prime Minister's Youth Business Loan is fast gaining popularity among youth of the country. Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority‚ National Bank of Pakistan and First Women Bank have reported brisk activity and steady buildup of confidence among youth in this regard. According to SMEDA‚ the response to their information dissemination‚ pre-feasibility studies‚ video tutor and telephone helpline has been overwhelming. Nbp has so far distributed over 2.5m forms through its network of branches. Over two thousand completed applications have so far been received back from all four provinces‚ Azad Kashmir and Islamabad.
First Women Bank has also reported unprecedented response from women of varying income strata.
