KARACHI - Employees of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) held a protest against the proposed privatisation of the national flag carrier.
Protesting at PIA headquarters in Karachi employees called on the Supreme Court to take suo moto notice of the privatisation. The protest was attended by engineers, pilots and other employee unions.
Protesters said the privatisation of PIA was unacceptable blaming the policies of the government and corrupt administration for the current state of the airline.
