PESHAWAR (APP) - Peshawar Electricity Supply Company (PESCO) Chief Executive Mohammad Wali has directed the field officers to make all-out efforts for reduction in line loses and try their best to prevent fatal accidents, saying technical staff would be provided all safety instruments. He issued these directives while presiding a meeting of SEs held here at WAPDA House Peshawar the other day. The meeting was held to analyze the pace of progress on reduction in line losses, recovery and provision of facilities to the customers. Chief Engineer (Operation) Abdul Latif Khan, Chief Engineer (Technical) Hanan Khan and Chief Engineer Planning Gul Mohammad Khan and all SEs of PESCO Circle attended the meeting. Referring to energy crisis in the country, Chief Executive PESCO said that due to change in climate the usage of electricity has increased resultantly PESCO has to carry out loadshedding for 7 to 8 times in 24 hours throughout Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He directed field officers to create public awareness for energy conservation and use all means to get public cooperation so that maximum energy could be saved. He directed the technical staff to adopt all safety measures to prevent fatal accidents during work.
