Hamza discusses energy project with Chinese minister

Lahore - A PML-N delegation, led by MNA Hamza Shahbaz Sharif, called on CPC Vice Minister for South Asia Chen Fengxiang and Deputy Director General Madam Rao Huihua in Beijing on Thursday.
During the meetings, areas of mutual cooperation were discussed and it was agreed that party-to-party contact and cooperation between the PML-N and CPC would be increased, so that both sides could learn from their experiences and work for a better future of the people of their countries.  Chen Fengxiang stated that an MOU had already been signed between the PML-N and CPC during one of the previous visits of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, and the CPC is very keen to help build capacity of the PML-N with regard to sustainable party structure. Both sides expressed their desire to deepen party-to-party exchanges and contact in order to build a stronger bond between the two sides.  On the occasion, Hamza mentioned that Pak-China friendship is an unwavering one and China is an all weather friend of Pakistan. Discussion was held regarding various projects being executed in Pakistan with Chinese collaboration especially those in the energy sector such as Nandipur Power Project. Discussion regarding Pak-China Economic Corridor, Lahore-Karachi Motorway, Sahiwal Coal Power Project and various other projects were also held.
