LAHORE - Inauguration ceremony of annual sports gala held at University of Education Township Campus in which teams consisting of students from different Departments and Divisions participated in various categories, says a press release. The flamboyant episode of sports gala began with recitation of holy Quran whereas chief guest was Vice Chancellor University of Education Dr Faizul Hasan. The participating teams took the oath to play honestly along with march past. Convener sports committee Madam Najma Irfan counseled the students to demonstrate sports man spirit in the sports. Competitions of cricket, 100 meter race and badminton, single and double category held on first day of the event. Number of students and University officers were present at the spot.
