Nespak approves Rs5.8b annual budget for 2013-14

LAHORE  - The 137th meeting of the Board of Directors (BoD) of NESPAK was held at NESPAK House, Lahore. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Saif Ullah Chattha, Federal Secretary Ministry of Water and Power and Chairman BoD of NESPAK and attended by other Directors including Mr. Amjad A. Khan, Managing Director NESPAK, Mr. Murad Ali, Special Secretary Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Muhammad Irfan Elahi, Chairman Planning and Development Punjab, Mr. Ajaz Ali Khan, Additional Secretary Ministry of Water and Power and Mr. Muhammad Ayub Sheikh, Managing Director Husnain Cotex Limited Lahore.
The board confirmed the minutes of the previous 136th BoD meeting. The NESPAK budget for the fiscal year 2013-14 amounting to Rs. 5.8 billion was also approved. The Board appreciated the services being provided by NESPAK on the ongoing projects and urged its management to keep up its good performance. Various financial and administrative matters were also discussed and finalized at the meeting.  A presentation was also arranged for the Directors on the important ongoing projects of NESPAK including the 6,600 MW Gaddani Power Project.
