ISLAMABAD (APP) - Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has appointed Peter Kales as PIAs exclusive cargo General Sales and Service Agent in Denmark. Managing Director of PIA Capt Muhammad Aijaz Haroon and Chief Executive Officer Kales Group Peter Kales signed an agreement in this regard, said a press release issued here on Monday. Director Marketing PIA Imran Khan and General Manager PIA Market Planning Mamoon Rashid were also present on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion Capt Aijaz said PIA has an aggressive strategy for increasing its selling base and presence to capture larger market share. He said these objectives are being achieved through multi pronged strategies and appointment of Cargo GSSAs in Denmark is one such examples. GSSAs also have been appointed in UK, Bangladesh, Hong Kong and Malaysia in 2009, he added. Capt Aijaz said PIA believes in satisfying its customers through professional business adding GSSAs will not only result in more business for the airline but also help in cutting down the operation costs. The airline is also planning to appoint Cargo GSSAs for its valued customers in United Arab Emirates in coming weeks, he said. He added that PIA is operating Boeing 777 to Denmark.
