Sports gala for disabled at Roots schools

ISLAMABAD (PR): ‘Fair Play’ is an over-used expression in the Sports jargon – Cricket and Football commentators tend to use it all the time; so do Sports Columnists and Bloggers all across. It is downright a cliché - but it really comes into its own when it is used to describe the underlying theme at the Sports Gala held at Roots Millennium Schools Wahid Campus. Fair Play encapsulates the very spirit in which this Gala was conducted since it was in celebration of the ‘International Day of Persons with Disabilities 2013’.
The event was conducted by Roots Millennium Schools in collaboration with Directorate General of Special Education, National Training Centre for Special Persons-NTCSP.
DG, Special Education Ms. Gayoor Sultana shared her thoughts on the importance of conducting events. Sultan Azam Taimoori (AIG) also spoke on the occasion. Ms. Ishrat Masood, Dr. Ghulam Haider Zardari, Khalid Ranjha and Zulfiqar Ahmed Deputy Director NTCSP were also present.
