ISLAMABAD - The Shaheen Air International has started flights to Saudi Arabia from Islamabad. The first inaugural flight carrying 110 passengers departed for Dammam, here on Sunday. This was informed by the Shaheen Airlines Executive Director Cdre (Retd) Khalid Bashir Anjum. He informed that initially one weekly flight from Islamabad and three weekly flights from Lahore would be operated. He further informed that the SAI was the first private airline of the country which had started flights to Dammam, Saudi Arabia. He said that large numbers of Pakistanis were working in Dammam and start of this service between Lahore-Dammam and Islamabad-Dammam would provide the passengers with excellent service at affordable and competitive fare, says a press release issued here on Sunday.
