LAHORE (PR) - Wapda and electricity young workers have demanded economic and social reforms and provision of meaningful education and training to each child in order to enable them to have access to productive employment combined with raising wages of the workers commensurate with price hike. These demands were raised in the Youth Conference of the Wapda held at Bukhtiar Labour Hall under the aegis of Pakistan Wapda Hydro Electric Central Labour Union here on Wednesday which was addressed by Tariq Khan, Chairman and Saeed-ul-Ilassan Secretary, Secretary Youth Wing, Hassan Munir Bhatti, Osama Tariq, Shabbir Boxer, Shahid Butt representatives of the young workers of Wapda. Khurshid said that youth are future prosperity of any nation and their services should be utilised for raising not only for raising productivity but also welfare of the workers through brining them within the fold of trade union movement.
