Pakistan decides to seek Russia’s assistance for Iran gas pipeline

Petroleum Secretary Ijaz Chaudhry has said that Pakistan would hold talks with a Russian company to complete Pakistan-Iran gas pipeline. During a media briefing on Wednesday, he said that a Pakistani delegation would hold talks in Moscow on April 2 and 3. He said that Pakistan would also hold talks with India regarding import of petroleum products. Chaudhry said that Pakistan had sought very transit fee from India, which Afghanistan asked Pakistan. He said that India had appreciated it but didn’t accepted yet.
