Pakistan can take GSP advantages despite challenges

KARACHI - Punjab Governor Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar said that we have the capability to take advantage of GSP Plus despite of facing challenges. We can take the country out from crises by availing opportunities given by European countries.
This was stated by him while addressing at Hi-Tea hosted by newly-elected President-FPCCI, Zakariya Usman, President All Karachi Industrial Alliance, Mian Zahid Hussain and business community.
Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar said that due to loadshedding of electricity and gas and deteriorated law & order situation, industrialists and business community are trying to restore trade & business activities in the country for which businessmen are deserved appreciation.
He said that Punjab is facing difficulties due to non-supply of gas for the last three months. But, now, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has directed to ensure supply of gas to factories and industrial units in Punjab due to which industrial activities would be restored in the province.
Former President-FPCCI, SM Muneer said that business community is standing with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for bringing economic revolution in the country.
He said that we are facing difficulties due to increasing cost of production and short supply of electricity and gas. We are hopeful that our country will resurface from the economic crises.
