ISLAMABAD (APP) - A delegation of Talon Group of UAE on Wednesday called on Federal Minister for Housing & Works Rehmatullah Kakar and expressed keenness to participate in the upcoming housing scheme in Pakistan. The delegation headed by its chief executive Paul, Kerman Shahchi exchanged views on the modalities, financing and other issues of common interest related to the construction of housing units/flats under Prime Minister's Housing for All Program. The Minister expressed gratitude to the UAE delegation for their interest of participation in the upcoming mega housing scheme. He said that there existed a lot of potential for the local and foreign companies in the construction of one million housing units in the country annually under Prime Minister's housing programme and government would provide all out cooperation in this regard. Secretary Housing Sami-ul-Haq Khilji explained salient features of the upcoming housing scheme which would be provided to the poor, needy government servants as well as to the general public on affordable cost. He said that all arrangements have been made to kick off the gigantic housing scheme.
