MARDAN - Former federal minister senator Mohammad Azam Khan Hoti has said that chairman organising committee of ANP has no authority to issue him show cause notice and expel him from the party. He stated this while talking to The Nation on Sunday.
It merits mentioning here the Senator Hoti was recently expelled from the Awami National Party (ANP) on issuing statements against former ANP chief Asfandyar Wali Khan and former provincial chief Afrasiyab Khattak
Azam Hoti said that Chairman Organising Committee of ANP Bashir Khan Matta issued him show cause notice and now he expelled him from the party.
He said that every one knows the role of organising committee. "The decision of Bashir Matta is like when a police station Muharar suspends or terminates Deputy Inspector General (DIG)," he added.
Azam Hoti said that he is still worker of ANP and the decision of Bashir Matta is illegal and unconstitutional. "I still hold the opinion that Asfandyar Wali Khan has no ability to run the party in the current situation," he added.
He said that Asfandyar Wali should voluntarily sits aside and it will be better for him and party.
