ISLAMABAD - A local court Tuesday issued notices to Margalla Police Station SHO while hearing an application seeking registration of a case against PPP leader Faisal Sakhi Butt for attempting to abduct a woman.
After issuing notices, Additional District and Sessions Judge Rafaqt Awan deferred the hearing for further proceedings till September 26.
Complainant Huma Hassan Raja moved the application through her counsel Khizar Hayat Advocate before the court and made the SHO as respondent. Huma stated that she was on her way to leave her children to their school when suddenly, a black car in which six people including Faisal Sakhi Butt were present, intercepted them. She added that they tried to abduct his son M Ali but she resisted their attempt of abducting her son. Later, the complainant added that they tried to forcibly put her in their vehicle and torn her clothes. Huma informed the court that despite the lapse of four days, Margalla police had not yet registered the case. Therefore, she requested the court to direct police to register FIR against the accused and take action against them as per law. After initial hearing, the court issued notices to the SHO and adjourned the hearing.
