4 banned outfit operatives killed in Quetta

QUETTA - Four members of a banned outfit were killed in a pre-dawn raid on the outskirts of Quetta on Tuesday, security and police officials said.
One security official was also wounded in the operation in which a huge stash of arms and ammunition was seized.
According to a spokesperson for Frontier Corps, the raid was made on a tip off and four terrorists, hiding in a house near Eastern Bypass, were killed following a brief gunbattle.
He said four children and a woman were taken out from the house safely.
During the raid ten kilos of explosive material, a Kalashnikov, 2 magazines, two 9MM pistols, improvised explosive devices, a suicide vest, two bundles of wire, a laptop, four walky-talky sets, 10 remote control bombs and four bomb circuits were seized.
The spokesperson said the bodies were shifted to a hospital for identification, and the injured security official was ferried to CMH for treatment.
Frontier Corps Inspector General Major-General Obaidullah Khan Kattak said they would not back off and were ready to make any sacrifice for security of the country and Balochistan a peaceful province.
