Steve Jobs action doll launched

A US company has been accused of bad taste after unveiling an action figure of late Apple boss Steve Jobs. The 12ins figure of the tech visionary, who gave the world the Mac, iPhone, iPad and iPod, comes just three months after his death. Called the iCEO mini, the figure features Jobs’ trademark black turtleneck, jeans and sandshoes. Toy companies in icons and Dragon in Dream unveiled the figure which is due for release in late February for $99.99 plus shipping. Apple or Jobs’s family might take action to block the use of Jobs’ likeness, as they did in 2010 when a company called MIC Gadget attempted to sell Jobs action figures on eBay.                           –OCU
