Man sees home burgled from airplane

A MAN has spotted his house being robbed from the sky in an airplane. Steven Lynn from Arkansas was planning to take aerial pictures of his residence when he saw two men in the middle of taking his possessions. He acted by calling his uncle and 911 in a bid to stop the robbers. Lynn told The Jonesboro Sun: "I looked down, and sure enough, there was a truck hooked onto a trailer and guys were loading stuff up. It didn't seem to faze them that we were buzzing over in an airplane - we got down pretty low." Though the robbers made off with the stolen items before Lynn's uncle could intervene, police eventually arrested the pair after the uncle and the pilot of the plane had followed them. The two men in custody now face burglary and theft charges. Police recovered most of Lynn's and his next-door neighbour's possessions, but a rifle worth $1,200 (740) belonging to Lynn remains missing. DS
