DARTFORD, UK-Mick Jagger is set to go to war with late girlfriend L’Wren Scott‘s estranged sister. Jagger’s daughter, Jade, has begged the Rolling Stones rocker to avoid a nasty legal battle with L’Wren’s  sibling Jan Shane, who’s pushing Mick to surrender so-called ‘personal family items’ he lawfully inherited in L’Wren’s will.
‘Although L’Wren Scott’s sister, Jan Shane, has spoken nicely about Mick Jagger in public, privately she’s ready to do battle with her late sister’s boyfriend over personal family items L’Wren left to Mick in her will,’ a source said. ‘But Mick’s daughter’s begging her dad not to battle back. ‘Jade thinks he’s still in bad shape emotionally after L’Wren killing herself, so she’s telling him he needs to find peace and not battle this woman. So Jade’s urging him to give Jan personal items like old family jewellery, or family photos from when L’Wren and Jan were young.
‘Mick doesn’t want a battle, either, but after hearing horror stories from L’Wren about her family, he understands why his lover left him her entire estate, and wrote in her will, ‘I have intentionally omitted to provide herein for any of my heirs’. Mick believes in keeping the integrity of L’Wren’s wishes intact.
He doesn’t feel he’d be honouring her memory by giving in to Jan. ‘He sent Jan some of L’Wren’s ashes, and hoped that would be the end of it.’ Scott died back in March after hanging herself at her NYC apartment.
