Blake Lively says Ryan Reynolds is a part of her, and she can’t wait to have a family with him. The Savages actress wed Ryan in September 2012, and the pair are often spotted out and about together looking loved up.
Talking to the August issue of Vogue magazine, Blake couldn’t help but gush about her spouse and how well matched they are. ‘He’s a part of it because everything we do in life we do together. If I’m working on a movie, he helps me with my character; I do the same with him. Picking out a coffee table. What we’re going to eat,’ she smiled to the publication.
Blake, 26, was also complimentary of Ryan’s writing skills and admits she can’t wait for the two of them to start a family as she thinks he’ll make the ideal father. The stars met each other on the set of Green Lantern in 2010, but weren’t involved romantically at first as 37-year-old Ryan was still married to Scarlett Johansson and Blake was dating her Gossip Girl co-star Penn Badgley. They started dating a year later and haven’t looked back.
‘He’s a beautiful writer - he’s written a lot of stuff for us. And he’s got a great barometer and he knows me, so he will tell me if it’s not as good as it can be. He’s going to be a great father and leader and patriarch - he’s so meant to be all of those things. The fact that he lived so much before we got together, he’s the exact realised person that he should be. And so I get to share my life with the person he’s become, and we get to grow from there,’ she enthused.
