Inception triumphs at 37th Saturn Awards

Inception has dominated the 37th Saturn Awards, emerging with five trophies at the annual science fiction, fantasy and horror ceremony. The Leonardo DiCaprio-led heist blockbuster scooped the top prize for 'Best Science Fiction Film, while director Christopher Nolan took home awards for 'Best Director and 'Best Writing. Inception also won composer Hans Zimmer a gong for 'Best Music and a technical prize for the special effects team. Acting prizes were awarded to Jeff Bridges (Tron: Legacy), Black Swan stars Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis, and Never Let Me Gos Andrew Garfield. Chloe Moretz won 'Best Performance by a Younger Actor for her role in vampire remake Let Me In. British indie Monsters scooped the 'Best International Film prize. Elsewhere, special achievement gongs were given to producer Dean Devlin ('The Dr Donald A. Reed Award), Marvels Kevin Feige ('Visionary Award), Frank Darabont ('George Pal Memorial Award) and Bert I. Gordon and Michael Biehn, who both won 'Life Career awards. DS
