Advisor on National Security and Foreign Affair Sartaj Aziz said there is a possibility of meeting between Nawaz Sharif and Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in September.
Speaking to reporters after meeting the Indian foreign minister Salman Khurshid in Brunei on Tuesday morning Sartaj Aziz said we want to build strong relationship with India.
He said there is a possibility of meeting between Nawaz Sharif and Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in September.
Aziz said that he reviewed the confidence building measures with India, which is the desire of the people of two countries.
It was the first high-level contact between Pakistan and India since Nawaz Sharif became the prime minister. Bilateral issues and ways to further improve relations between the two countries were discussed.
Earlier this week, Prime Minister Sharif met a delegation of Pakistan India Business Forum and reiterated his resolve to boost bilateral trade ties between the two ties.
