Federal Minister for Water and Power, Raja Pervez Ashraf has said that 6,000 MW additional electricity will be produced by next year which will put an end to the existing power crisis in the country. He said this while presiding over a meeting held here to review the auctioning of projects for producing up to 1200 MW electricity on priority basis. Raja Pervez Ashraf said the government is committed to overcoming the power crisis by the next year and all possible steps are being taken to achieve this goal.
