Two passenger buses collided head-on in Bangladesh on Sunday, leaving 21 people dead and 50 injured. The accident occurred in Faridpur district, about 40 miles southwest of the Dhaka, local government administrator Helal Uddin said. Uddin had earlier said at least 15 people died at the scene and 30 others were injured, but the United News of Bangladesh agency later put the casualty figure at 21. The agency said at least 50 people were hurt. Officials could not be reached immediately to confirm the new figure.
