An earthquake measuring 6.2 on the Richter scale jolted Tarapaca, Chile, at about 1731 PST on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said. The epicenter, with a depth of 87.80 km, was initially determined to be at 18.1084 degrees south latitude and 69.3758 degrees west longitude. No immediate reports of casualties and damage.
