Traders demand shifting the district courts for security: Islamabad

ISLAMABAD- Traders and residents of F-8 sector have appealed to the government to shift district courts to some other place because they offer a security risk.
They say this is a crowded market and a hub of business activities but the presence of district courts has dented their business. “Criminals and prisoners come here and so many bloody clashes and exchange of firing take place among the litigants, causing loss to life,” said trader Safeer Ahmad.
“Many passersby and customers become victim to the firing incidents and no customer feels secure in this market,” said Noman Ejaz a trader.
“ We don’t visit markets during the working hours of district courts for fear of becoming a target of criminals,” said a group of housewives.
